Design Challenge
Initially, we worked on a redesign for the Banco Azul app starting on iOS design. Since it was going to be a native app we later encountered the challenge of adaptability to Android systems.
The process of adapting an iOS application to the Android platform can involve several steps. The first step is typically to analyze the functionality and design of the iOS app and identify any differences in the user interface and user experience that need to be addressed for the Android platform. Identifying the differences between components and being able to translate that to provide the best usability and make sure developers ensure compatibility with the Android operating system.
The primary online banking platform required an update to its current application. Navigation was made difficult due to multiple taps, and several sections often caused confusion for users.

The Challenge
Complex Navigation: The various taps and sections made navigation difficult and confusing for users. To minimize frustration and confusion when managing their accounts, it was essential to design an intuitive and user-friendly way to access each product.
Lack of Documentation: There was no documentation outlining the app's services or transaction flows. We had to reverse-engineer the system, identify which flows to replicate, and redo several processes from scratch.
Unrealistic Time Estimates: The project’s timeline could have been better estimated. This challenge ultimately led us to adopt the Agile methodology to ensure more accurate planning and better alignment with the time constraints.
We considered feedback from multiple users through various interviews. To refine the product, prototypes and testing were conducted. Additionally, micro-interactions were incorporated to enhance navigation and make it more user-friendly.
